2015 In A Nutshell

With 2016 right around the corner, it is time to make some improvements!!! Number one...keep up with my blog!!!!
I am currently working full time, I have me new business which is doing great and I have gone back to school!!! What?!?!? me of all people back in school!!! This is just proof anything can happen. This is actually not even a new turn of events considering I am already a sophomore!!!! I am currently in the process of changing my major for the 3rd time, which brings me to another improvement that is very much need...my indecisiveness!!! I am (believe it or not) thoroughly enjoying school and I am rather good at it too! so far...knock on wood

So here is a recap of 2015...

So whats up with Whoopsie Daisy?...We have finally taken a break. We have been rather busy since September. Down here in Texas, we have a little something called the Homecoming Mum which dominated the month of September and October...

and we had a rather busy Christmas season...

We attended several craft shows and made lots of wreaths...

I would have to say that our business has been a success so far!!!

I have discovered that I have a new talent as I designed our new logo...

YEP I did that all by myself :)

Another milestone in 2015 was my oldest child turning 16!!!!

I KNOW!!! I can't believe it either!!! Watch out world!!!

Paige has turned out to be quite the athlete in junior high...

as well as Bayley

OH MY!!! I have gained so much weight!!! (Change #3)

And I must not forget my son's climb to fame...

Yes that is him, on the jumbo tron at Ranger's Stadium!!!! or whatever it is called now...i can't keep up

Well I believe that pretty much sums up 2015...stay tuned for my complete list of "improvements"

Whoopsie Daisy

OK so once again I have fallen down on my job as a blogger!!! Summer has been AMAZING as always and it is almost over :(. It was jam packed full of wonderful adventures, (hence the reason for the blog hiatus!) One of those adventures happens to be my new business!!! My friend Jessica and I have recently embarked on a new journey that we like to call Whoopsie Daisy!!! We are event florist and more (not sure quite yet what and more means but we'll find out as we encounter it.) We are super duper excited for this opportunity. We have a wedding coming up in September and then Homecoming!!!

Homecoming in Texas is a huge ordeal so we have spent the last part of the summer getting prepared for that. We are both so excited to see where this adventure takes us, who knows we may be famous one day!!! Stay tuned!!!

It's All In A Name

We all have heard the numerous names used to represent our Lord and Savior...

And there are many more!!!!!

But what about His names for us. I thought about this on my way to work this morning. Not only do we have so many names to describe His greatness, He also has names to describe us.

Holy (separate)
Child
Redeemed
Son or Daughter
Bride
Forgiven
Prince or Princess
Beloved
Saved
The Body
and my most favorite...CHOSEN

I am CHOSEN by the One who fills the shoes of more names than we could ever mention. He chose me!!!

This just warmed my heart this morning and I had to share!!!

Happy 2015

Ok so I'm running a little late with this but then again don't I ALWAYS run late!!! I suppose it is hereditary as I sit here at 9:40 on Sunday evening watching my daughter just now starting her homework. We had an awesome service this morning at church. We discussed the fruit of the spirit, and how we should produce more fruit. With that being said here is my New Years resolutions for 2015...

#1 produce more fruit
#2 take more breaks in life (tonight's sermon)
#3 participate in WWIW on The Pleated Poppy
#4 cook more
#5 eat as a family
#6 spend more time with God
#7 be more of a servant
#8 Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover

Notice "lose weight" is not included...since it has been on my past 20 resolutions, I though I'd just skip a year and see what happens.

VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS WISHES AND BLESSINGS

I am going to blink my eyes and Christmas will be over :(

As quick as it snuck up on us, It will pass us by as well.

I feel so incredibily blessed this year. There is nothing greater than this time, set aside, for the rememberance of the greatest gift ever given!!!

The Joy of the Lord that resides in my heart is my most valuable possesion, next to my salvation.

Christmas Decorations!!!

Horrible picture but I LOVE my tree!!!
